Editorial Policy

A few plain commitments about how this site is written.

Written by a person

Articles are written and edited by Brittney Adams. We may use tools to research or tidy drafts, but the opinions, the training experience, and the judgment are human, and accountable to a real name.

Evidence over hype

We lean on training principles and the general state of the research, and we say so when the evidence is thin or contested. We don’t invent statistics, and we don’t pretend a study says more than it does.

Honest by default

If a popular method is overrated, oversold, or just not worth it, we say so. We’d rather lose a click than mislead a reader who’s trusting us with their training.

Affiliate independence

Commercial relationships (see the affiliate disclosure) never decide our opinions. Recommendations are based on real use and usefulness, not commission.
